ABOUT US

The Elena Aleksiejuk Foundation was established in late 2020 out of a need to spread musical culture, reaching out to outstandingly talented artists and supporting their work. The Foundation proudly bears the name of an outstanding pianist comprehensively and resiliently active in Pomerania and throughout the country for the past 30 years. We commemorate her name by promoting culture and music in Poland and around the world. We are committed to promoting high quality musical performances and an uncompromising selection of the artists we work with.
We operate internationally, our first project was the Piano Competition Online, which has been an international success and now has an established reputation in the music market. We are currently developing the String Competition Online for string instruments. In the near future, we plan to organize more editions of competitions and concerts of the winners.

Our task is also to promote, implement and support activities in the field of artistic after-school education. We are committed to raising the level of music education in society.

OUR PATRON

Elena Aleksiejuk (1964-2020) is an outstanding pianist and pedagogue. A graduate of the Lev Sobinov Conservatory of Music in Saratov, Russia, she graduated with honors in 1988, working under Albert Tarakanov, the youngest student of the great Russian pedagogue and pianist Harry Neuhaus. As a young pianist, Elena Aleksiejuk participated in many piano competitions of all-Soviet and international rank, winning numerous prizes and awards.

Since 1991 she has settled permanently in Poland, conducting a thriving teaching and concert activity. In 1993, together with Krzysztof Dabrowski (countertenor), she formed the Early Music Ensemble “Ad te Domine,” with which she toured for many years as a harpsichordist (in Poland, Sweden, Germany and Belgium) performing Baroque music with Dirk Snellings (bass) and Marnix de Cat (countertenor; Leuven Music Academy). With this ensemble, she made recordings of Baroque music for Swedish radio in Malmö.
